Our Safari Zanzibar package is extremely popular due to the fact that it allows you to explore the vast plains of the African savannah and the tranquil beaches of Zanzibar. The mighty African elephants dominate the beautiful vistas of the Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara features various fascinating habitats. The Serengeti epitomises the African safari experience by combining exceptional wildlife with stunning scenery. Africa’s Eden, the Ngorongoro Crater, boasts lush fauna and flora as well as perfect conditions for an unparalleled game drive. Zanzibar is an island paradise and the beach is drenched in a golden haze. The crystal waters flow in a celestial-blue calmness from the horizon to the shore. The horizon itself is a thin seam where the glowing sky and the plane of sea merge into a line of silver, as if they had been fused into a limitless splinter of brilliance. You will discover the rich history and culture embedded in the ancient Stone Town. The twisted alleyways lead to the market where stalls fill almost every square inch of the street – selling everything from exotic fruits to rich fabrics. Stone Town’s Indo-Arabian inspired architecture creates a vibrant urban backdrop for memorable summer evenings. The Safari Zanzibar experience will exceed every expectation that you have set.
Prior to landing you will notice that the crystal clear waters of the Zanzibar beaches truly exist. Our driver will collect you from the airport and transport you to the hotel in Stone Town. Stone Town is the ancient city and cultural heart of Zanzibar. You will be pleased to know that much of what you see today is the same as it was two hundred years ago. One could simply meander through the winding alleys, bustling bazaars and mosques for countless hours. There is an optional Historical Stone Town tour that will guide you through centuries of culture. This tour captures the essence of Zanzibar by visiting iconic land marks including but not limited to – the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People’s Palace), Dr Livingston’s house and the Arab Fort. We will also explore the market, mosques and Cathedrals. There is enough time to analyse the hand carved wooden doors. In the evening there are two options for dinner. You can dine at the hotel or we have something for the foodies. You can tantalize your taste buds with flavoursome local cuisines or enjoy the fresh seafood at the food market, Forodhani Garden.
There will be an optional spice tour in the morning for those who can resist sleeping in and after midday we will make our way to Kendwa to explore the finest Zanzibar beaches. Kendwa’s beaches feature golden sand with shimmering water that reflects the clear skies and white foam that will tickle your toes.
In the morning there is an optional visit to the Tortoise Island after which we will transport you back to the hotel to enjoy the Zanzibar beaches. There are numerous water sports and activities on offer including snorkelling, volleyball, boat trips, scuba diving and more. There is of course the option to relax on the beach and sip on an exotic drink whilst you lounge in the sun.
After you have enjoyed a delicious breakfast we will provide transportation to Zanzibar International airport where you will connect your flight.
